WHAT REAL CLIENTS HAD TO SAY ABOUT THE LEADERS BOOTCAMP
Matt O
As a Military Veteran who successfully made the transition to the Project Management market, Tim offered keen insight and invaluable feedback which enabled me to better understand how to tailor my marketing strategy to ensure I was attracting the right employment attention. Tim took time to understand what my personal brand was and assisted me in understanding the deliberate steps he took in transitioning from a military project management role into a civilian project management role. I highly recommend Tim’s services to anyone who is facing a career transition!

Tim's experience as a veteran and small business owner made it easy to relate on a personal and professional level. He is the type of guy you can share a drink or a meal and feel like you were both in the same unit. After our initial discussion I gained the confidence to move forward from dreaming about becoming an entrepreneur to actually becoming one.

I really appreciate you taking time out of your day to speak with me. It meant a lot for a veteran to sit down and talk about the perils and joys of getting out. Also, what to expect during the transition. You have been the only one to take the time to lay it out in detail for me. For that I am grateful and look forward to working with you in the future.

Tim Eng is an exemplary professional coach that I have been privileged to work with over the past year. He has helped me gain more confidence at work and to remain focused on things I can control. The higher I have risen in organizations, the more I find it important to have someone external to offer perspective and coaching. With his unique background, Tim is able to provide practical solutions to complex issues in the business environment as well as personal insights. I see Tim as both a trusted adviser and a valued friend that I would highly recommend.

MAJ Eng is one of the few leaders I remain in contact with even after we’ve moved on to different assignments. There’s something unique with how he approaches leadership in that he’s proactive rather than reactive and really cares about helping his Soldiers out so that they can get the mission complete and go home to their families. He’s helped me clarify my goals as I’ve had to make some serious decisions regarding both my civilian and military careers.

As a fellow Army Veteran and entrepreneur, Tim demonstrated his leadership capabilities by providing more than solutions. His deep, genuine, and sincere desire to first listen, and then advise and formulate appropriate courses of action for me and my company led to an increase in in both business acumen and technical efficiency, elevating my potential as a new business owner. Our encouraging mentorship sessions resulted in both the reaffirmation and direction of my business and an increase in new client relationships. Tim is a true leader by example and one who leads from the heart.

I've known MAJ Timothy Eng for a little over a year now and I am incredibly grateful to have crossed his path. He joined our unit in April of 2016 and while introducing himself to our small group of Soldiers; I was thoroughly impressed with his command presence, oration of his background and goals, and humility (West Point Grads, *ahem :)).
I made a mental note to formally introduce myself and learn more about Tim, and throughout the year asked a ton of questions to help guide my military and civilian decisions for my family's future. Every question I asked, he answered with sound advice that was backed by practicality rather than unrealistic goals and expectations. I can honestly say that the advice (coupled with advice from other mentors) offered by Tim has pushed me to pursue a Grad Degree in Computer Science and ultimately following my azimuth in entrepreneurship and application technology. Thanks, Sir!

MEET ME TIM ENG
After graduating from West Point, I had the honor of leading Soldiers into combat and learned quickly what it meant to be decisive under fire. I transitioned out of the Army in Feb 2011, and started two small businesses in industries I wasn’t even familiar with… And I succeeded!
I know that I learn best by doing, and enjoyed the thrill of running my own business. I also remember the stressful times, as well. Through the trials and tribulations, I gained valuable lessons about what it takes to be successful.
I applied what I learned in business and began consulting for veteran owned startups. This led me to helping fellow veterans transition, by connecting with them online and at meetup groups.
I believe that veterans are in a great position because we already possess the leadership skills that are truly needed and highly sought after in today’s market.
Unfortunately, veterans don’t recognize their true value and often sell themselves short in the marketplace. We listen to our fears and think others are smarter, more capable, and cut out for jobs in tech, finance, etc.
What stops you from starting your dream career today? That very same “Can Do” attitude and willingness to learn and listen to what works is what you need to get started.
If that sounds like you, I look forward to connecting soon.
See you at the top!
Tim

I AM TIRED OF LEARNING IT THE HARD WAY!
Getting out of the military is tough enough with the endless briefings, paperwork and checklists. I don’t have the time or patience to be figuring it out on my own.
